What tools do I need to attend the CISSP training sessions?
The tools you’ll need to attend CISSP training are:
Windows: Windows XP SP3 or higher
Mac: OSX 10.6 or higher
Internet speed: Preferably 512 Kbps or higher
Headset, speakers and microphone: You’ll need headphones or speakers to hear the instructor clearly, as well as a microphone to talk to others. You can use a headset with a built-in microphone, or separate speakers and microphone.
Is this live training or will I watch pre-recorded videos?

Is the course aligned to the latest exam and course changes implemented?
Yes, our training is completely aligned to the latest update done to the course by (ISC)2.
What is the certification validity?
An (ISC)2 CISSP certification is valid for a total of three years. You can opt to:
- Retake the course and exam
- Earn and submit 120 Continuing Professional Education credits (CPEs) during the three years.
OR
CPE credits stand for Continuing Professional Education activities. To maintain your credentials, you can earn and submit the bare minimum number of credits required to sustain your certification. The minimum number of CPE credits required to maintain the validity of a CISSP certification is 120 over three years.
When and where do I take the exam?
All (ISC)² exams are offered at Pearson VUE testing centres worldwide. For more information on the exam booking process, please speak to us or visit the (ISC)² website directly.

Note: The CISSP® examination is NOT included as part of this course from BJSL, but the course is designed to prepare delegates for attempting the (ISC)2 examination.
The CISSP exam is a computer-based test (CBT) administered at Pearson VUE Testing centres around the world. The CISSP exam takes the following format:
- 100 – 150 multiple choice and advanced innovative items
- There may be scenario-based items with more than one multiple-choice item
- Duration : 3 hrs
- Passing Score : To pass your CISSP exam, you need to score at least 700 out of a possible 1000 points.

What are the prerequisites for doing this course?
Candidates must have a minimum of five years cumulative paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP CBK. Earning a four-year college degree or regional equivalent or an additional credential from the (ISC)² approved list will satisfy one year of the required experience. Education credit will only satisfy one year of experience.
A candidate who doesn’t have the required experience to become a CISSP may become an Associate of (ISC)² by successfully passing the CISSP examination. The Associate of (ISC)² will then have six years to earn the five years required experience.
